Into the ICU and on the road to recovery

We finally got into the ICU where we got to see Davis around 3:45 this afternoon.  After hours of waiting and worrying about how he's doing, it was a great feeling to see him, hold his little warm hand and know he is ok.  The docs are all very pleased with how his surgery went and think he's doing great so far.  He's currently on the ventilator and has a pace maker and about 10 meds/plasma going into ports in his neck and groin area.  He's got a long way to go before he'll be running through the house again, but every day he'll feel a little better.  So...now we're on the road to recovery.

You must be so relieved. Hang tough. Each day he'll be one day closer to being in your arms again and coming home. Know you all are so much loved.
